I can see the rabbit hoping to use his rabbit skills to run everything down, but trying to fight fire with fire only works if you have the same amount of fire.
2. Also interesting that the stronger player (Tiger) chose to run the rabbit around. I think his other strategy of overpowering Rabbit with strong shots carefully targeted is definitely the sounder option. Rabbits are notoriously difficult to tire. In fact, they usually LOVE running stuff down. When faced with a Rabbit, I prefer hitting right at them to challenge their footwork and stroke technique once they have shown me their agility is an asset.

Thinking back to one of your previous posts about athleticism, the same point works here - figure out your opponents' strengths and weaknesses ASAP. Avoid the former and chip away at the latter.

The big question is, when you are the Rabbit, what do you do about the Tiger??LissaJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11584807385075888865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4860036269247075645.post-27811574993165796062014-10-31T06:12:58.778-04:002014-10-31T06:12:58.778-04:00Thanks, Doug, for guiding me step-by-step in the c...Thanks, Doug, for guiding me step-by-step in the creation of my new tennis website. With your help, patience and creative input, it was literally up and running in just one week! I teach kids 14 and under mostly, and I'm glad they now have a place to go for scheduling and tennis tips from our beloved mascot, Rocky T. Top. If you were a movie, I'd give you a two-thumbs up!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16670944799805532024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4860036269247075645.post-38010766613224120462014-10-29T20:04:22.997-04:002014-10-29T20:04:22.997-04:00Thank you Mark. He got this name because he rarely lets up on that 2nd serve. So I hear him say to his partner, "I'm hitting all first serves today, even on my 2nd serve. Hopefully the winners I hit will make up for the double faults." Wow, I thought, he has figured this thing to a science. If only his first serves were good enough to be aces... Do I need to say that DF Mike is on my mental list of people not to be a partner with? Bobby KahleRouldukehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16961898481132355553noreply@blogger.com
